Electric ducted air heaters EHC

• EHC - electric, ducted air heaters without automation for ventilation systems, clean air preheating
• can also be used for heating or preheating air in ventilation units
• the casing is made of tinplate coated with alumina, with sealing rubber, for hermetic connection to ventilation ducts
• the heating elements are made of stainless steel
• with double overheating protection - first integrated, automatic thermostat activated when the temperature reaches +60 °C (up to Ø250 mm), +70 °C (above Ø250 mm) second, manual +100 °C (manually activated)
• a manual reset button is mounted on the heater cover
• the air flow rate shall be not less than 1.5 m/s
• the heaters shall have phase 1 and phase 2 thermostats connected in series with the heating elements so that no external relay is required
• an external relay is only required for the 3-phase heaters for the overheating protection function
• flow control (FC models), it is possible to detect if there is flow in the duct and to prevent heating if there is no flow, thus protecting the heater against overheating. In this case, no additional interlocks with fans or ventilation units are required
• available types of EHC heaters

1. EHC - standard version without integrated control
2. EHC SI - internal temperature control with one temperature sensor, the sensor is mounted in the heater's outlet air duct, the temperature setting knob is mounted on the heater body
3. EHC SE - external temperature setting with one temperature sensor, sensor mounted in the heater outlet air duct, temperature setting unit mounted indoors (potentiometer resistance - 10K)
4. EHC CE - external control signal 0-10VDC, control signal from another controller
5. EHC FC - flow and pressure control
6. EHC CE/FC - external control signal 0-10VDC, control signal fed from another controller, plus flow and pressure control
7. EHC SE/FC - external temperature control with one temperature sensor, the sensor is mounted in the heater outlet air duct, the temperature control unit is mounted in the room (potentiometer resistance - 10K), and flow and pressure control
8. EHC SI/FC - internal temperature control with one temperature sensor, sensor mounted in the heater outlet duct, temperature setting knob mounted on the heater body, and flow and pressure control
9. EHC K - standard version without integrated control, with contactor
10. EHC CE/K - external control signal 0-10VDC, control signal from another controller, with contactor
11. EHC SE/K - external temperature control with one temperature sensor, sensor mounted in the heater's outlet air duct, temperature control unit mounted in the room (potentiometer resistance - 10K), with contactor
12. EHC SI/K - indoor temperature control with one temperature sensor, sensor mounted in the heater outlet air duct, temperature setting knob mounted on the heater body, with contactor
13. EHC FC/K - flow and pressure control, with contactor
14. EHC CE/FC/K - external control signal 0-10VDC, control signal from another controller, and flow and pressure control, with contactor
15. EHC SE/FC/K - external temperature control with one temperature sensor, sensor mounted in the heater outlet air duct, temperature control unit mounted in the room (potentiometer resistance 10K), flow and pressure control, with contactor
16. EHC SI/FC/K - indoor temperature control with one temperature sensor, sensor mounted in the heater's outlet air duct, temperature setting knob mounted on the heater body, flow and pressure control, with contactor

• the following temperature control modes are available for the above models with temperature sensor:

1. -30..0 °C - the heater will switch on when the temperature drops below the set limit

2. 0..30 °C - the heater will switch on when the temperature falls below the set limit

• if the heater is not equipped with an electronic controller, an external controller must be used
